About Method Of Freedom
Method of Freedom is an experimental electronic music act originating from so called Queensland, Australia. It is a collaboration between Mitchell Feggans and Peta Thrupp which started officially in 2021. Their debut release, The Tape Sessions, is a series of improvised performances that were recorded over a series of months, tracked live to a 4 track tape machine. The album meditates on the themes of decay and collapse, mirroring the eventual state of the recording medium of tape, as well as a reflection on the current state of the world.
