Merve Daşdemir (born 20 September 1987 in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish vocalist and songwriter best known for her years as the singer in Dutch-Anatolian, Amsterdam-based psych-groove specialists Altin Gün. Daşdemir left the group in May 2024, relocated to Turkey and launched a solo career as MERVE, stylized in all caps. Her debut solo single, 'Platonic', came out in February 2025.
