About Melony
Melony were a trio from Stockholm, Sweden who specialized in traditional Swedish guitarpop, as bands like The Wannadies, This Perfect Day, Pushtwangers, Green and Brainpool. The group comprised of comic-book translator Peter Kvint (guitar, vocals), Mana Eriksson (drums) and Gunnar Norden (bass), who originally formed in 1995 to play at a friend's wedding. Following a domestic-only EP Skycracker for Sweden's Soap label, they were signed by Minty Fresh Records' president Jim Powers in 1997.
