Mechanical Lobster hails from the veritable hotbed of musical talent that is Guernsey, Channel Islands, U.K. Mixing a funk bassist, a punk-looking but Slayer-loving drummer, a lead guitarist that wants to be in Pink Floyd, a keyboard player that is also a techno/trance D.J., a rhythm guitarist that spends more time at the bar and a lead singer famed for antics all makes for an interesting show each time they take to the stage. Formed In 1999 from an idea that Lloyd had to achieve a different style of guitar band to the others in Guernsey
