Mecha Shiva is an instrumental power trio that plays improvised whatever. Ronald Damasceno is the drummer and recording engineer. James Hoy plays the bass through a copious amount of effects and distortion while Ryan Leeds plays guitar through his own effects loop. They prefer not to immediately categorize their musical style since it can vary so wildly. Typically, Ronald says it's somewhere in between post rock, 70s, jazz fusion, rock, electro, ambient, noise, hudgecore.
