About Me and the Heat
Me and the Heat is a German new wave band. They created one album named Game of Position. In the mid eighties they achieved a cult status in the Netherlands. They performed on the Pandorra festival where they became the revelation for that year. Influences were said to be Clock DVA and The Box. According to the tourmanager: "Tom Mega spent some time in jail, but was still able to obtain heroin. He requested solitude confinement. That''s where he taught himself to sing. He was a very energetic performer, comparable to Iggy Pop."
