About Mayday To The Moon
Mayday to the Moon are Joey Vapors and James Ray Gun Justice. The songs are improvised jams. Most effects and audio processing are done on the fly using a miked acoustic drum kit and an electric guitar running though a mobile recording setup. The recorded improvisations set the basis of the tracks. After a few more sessions of adding some overdubs and other tweaks an episode is deemed ready. The idea is to work quickly and keep it close to the live jam feel.
