About Maya Rung
Maya Rung, born in 1987, has grown up in the Swedish town Karlstad. At the age of 16 (in 2003) she played the part of Sandy in the critically acclaimed production of Grease in Karlstad. In 2005 she took part in a sparkling and glamorous late night jazz dance show called "The Hazard Show". Later the same year she won the Song Contest in Karlstad (its version of the European Song Contest) together with her friend Anders Wigeluis, performing a song called "Ger mycket mer".
