
Max Kaminsky (September 7, 1908 – September 6, 1994), was a jazz trumpeter and bandleader of Max Kaminsky's Orchestra. Kaminsky was born in Brockton, Massachusetts September 7th, 1908. He started his career in Boston in 1924 and by 1928 worked in Chicago with George Wettling and Frank Teschmacher at the Cinderella Ballroom and in New York for a brief period in 1929 with Red Nichols. He was primarily known for Dixieland and at one time played for the Original Dixieland Jass Band.
