About Max Eider
Max Eider, aka Maximilian Theodor Eider III (born Peter Millson; died December 2025) was an English guitarist and songwriter remembered as co-founder of The Jazz Butcher Conspiracy and for his solo recordings. Pat Fish and Max Eider formed The Jazz Butcher Conspiracy in Oxford in 1982. Having met at university, Fish and Eider had previously been in bands The Institution (along with Rolo McGinty, later of The Woodentops), and The Sonic Tonix (later The Tonix) (with John Silver).
