About Maurice Jaubert
Maurice Jaubert (born in Nice, January 3, 1900 - died at the hospital of Baccara, June 19, 1940) was a French composer. Although Jaubert was also a classical composer, he is mainly remembered for his numerous film scores. Jaubert wrote for some of the most important French films of the thirties. These are a.o. 'Zéro de conduite' and 'L'Atalante' by Jean Vigo,'Quatuorze Juillet' by René Clair, 'Un carnet de bal' and 'La fin du jour' by Julien Divivier
