Maulidi Juma was a taarab bandleader from Mombasa, Kenya. Maulidi Musical Party were Mombasa's premier Swahili wedding band. They also played Hindi style Bollywood music, with Swahili words on the latest Bombay movie tunes, typical for the Mombasa taarab style with characteristic instruments like harmonium, accordion guitar and percussion.
