Matt Roux has played his original songs and covers of his influences (including John Mayer and Jason Mraz) across Cape Town in the past two years. Along the way he won the coveted Barleycorn Songwriter's Competition in August 2010 and released his debut album "Square One" in December 2011. He's gigged at The Waiting Room, Obz Cafe Theatre, On Broadway, The Brass Bell, News Cafe, The Melting Pot, The Riverclub and more.
