The first news about him refers to his stay, very young, in Madrid. There is reasonable doubt as to whether he was born in Italy (according to R. Stevenson, 2001-2002) or in Spain (according to J. Koegel, 2002). He was probably, young, in Madrid, author of the music of the opera La casandra
