About Massahara
Massahara was formed in São Paulo, Brazil, in mid-2002 with influences from early 70's ranging from Progressive Rock/Hard Rock and Psychedelia from the late 60's. Inspired by bands like Capitain Beyond, Dust, Black Sabbath, Cream, Beck, Bogert and Appice, Armageddon, Grand Funk Railroad and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Massahara had its first formation as a quartet, and remained in power trio afterwards for quite a while, however they came to the conclusion that a keyboard would be vital to its sound, so the quartet format was made official.
