About Masque of Death
The story of Masque of Death began in 2008, when Sofía Ruiz (Guitarist, vocalist) and Abel Ramos (Drummer) who attended the same University and had previously played together in several bands, decided to start up a metal project. After trying out a few candidates for the lead guitar role, they came across Carlos de Arquer and he was a perfect fit. He soon started to songwrite with Sofia, aiming to achieve an unique sound that would reveal the elegance and art that lie in metal.
