About Marty Thompson
Marty Thompson, born and raised in West Texas, has been playing and writing music his whole life. At age 8, he owned every Led Zeppelin, Beatles, and Eagles album ever recorded, and had already worn out and replaced his cassette of Van Halen's debut. Early on, poetry (some in song form) began to emerge. Several of his poems were published or displayed, and this began the basis of what would later be a natural writing style. Marty picked up the guitar later on, at age 18, but learned it very quickly.
