
Martino Pesenti (Venice, 1600 - Venice, before March 15, 1648) was an Italian composer, organist and harpsichordist. Martino Pesenti was born blind and suffered from paralysis. He was a pupil of Giovanni Battista Grillo (old sources report Claudio Monteverdi). He worked exclusively in Venice, as a music teacher, tuner and as a musician, performing in musical evenings and dances of the Venetian bourgeoisie. He was good friends with the publisher Alessandro Vincenti
