About Martin Duben
Martin Düben (c. 1598 or 1599 – no later than 1650) was a German organist. Düben was the younger brother of Anders Düben the Elder. He was summoned by the court conductor Jacob Schmidt to fill the vacant post of court organist. He was employed in the Royal Court Orchestra from 1626 to 1633. His activities for the next six years are unknown, but in 1641 he was employed as organist in Storkyrkan, a position he held until his death.
