Martian Tin Can are a Production trio who recorded in Manchester, UK 1994 -1998. Much of the work was done at Mark Pilkington's Thought Universe Electronic Music Studio (TUEMS). Martian Tin Can are Colin Laird, Mark Pilkington and Matt Smith. Their first release was the Media Virus EP (Vinyl only) which grabbed the attention of the likes of Ninja Tune and Lascelles' Orange Egg.
