About Mars in Furs
Formed in 2006 in Southeastern Massachusetts. Drawing influences from a range of sixties artists, mostly psychedelic in nature. Softer tracks recall the tripped out folk of Donovan and Nick Drake. At its heaviest, a nod to the modern psych rock movement. The moniker is an apparent reference to the film entitled "Venus in Furs" and the Velvet Underground track of the same name. Chris Eff is the sole member and writes and performs all songs.
