About Market Fiction
Formed through ties at Leeds University, Market Fiction have been writing and performing music since around September 2007. The band have been described as a British band with American influences showing hints of the Gang of Four and Scottish acts the Cocteau Twins, Josef K and Orange Juice. A review of the EP by www.leedsmusicscene.net called the band "a roller-coaster ride of Garage Brit Pop" that "have raised the bar for the Indie bands of Leeds..."
