Mark Mancina and Trevor Rabin are film score composers, both having a rather modern approach to film scoring. While the style of both Mancina and Rabin can be categorized as what many have come to know as the "Media Ventures" style, only Mancina had a stronger link to Hans Zimmer's studio in the past. Both composers make heavy use of synthesizers and guitars in their compositions. They collaborated on the score to the 1997 action movie "Con Air".
