Mark Penton and The Pentones... A Blues Band With a Rock&Roll Problem from New Orleans. Mark Penton - Guitar/Vocals/Writer/Producer Though he was born in Heidelberg Germany (Army Brat), Mark is 3rd generation New Orleans. Since he first ventured down that long, dark hallway at age 12 to meet Hank Mackie,legendary New Orleans guitar teacher and performer, Penton's musical style has grown and evolved to make him a true master of his art. His self-described style is blues, funk and stuff.
