For many years, Mariolina Zitta has been researching natural sounds and creating performances with sonorous stones and many other objects of nature at prehistoric sites, natural parks, caves, and theatres. In addition, she has created educational programs and sound lab experiences for school children, introducing them to the roots of human music making. She has also been a student of voice for years, following the "Functional Voice Method" of Gisela Rohmert.
