About Marije de Vries
Marije de Vries is a singer-songwriter born on January the 16th 1990 in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. At age 17, she decided to enroll in the Acadamy for Pop-culture in Leeuwarden. This all forthcoming from her great passion that is music. Inspired by many great artists like: David Gray, Ray Lamontagne, Stephen Stills and Eva Cassidy she started writing folk/blues and country songs. Joined by her guitar, harmonica and Masha Schenkel, she can now often be found playing on the streets in Friesland, The Netherlands.
