There are, at least, two artists known as Marie France: 1) A pseudonym of French singer Marie-France Garcia. 2) A UK pianist / trombonist, formerly with Dead Disco, now with Video Villain. 1) A French singer & actress (b. 9 Feb 1946, in Oran - aka Marie-France Garcia), a transsexual & 70s Parisian pop icon. Marie-France was hired in 1969 at the Alcazar in the Latin Quarter, where she became famous as a Marilyn Monroe look-alike. She remained one of the headliners of that music-hall until 1987.
