Marie Chante Quelle Elle Telephone was formed in 2008. In 2010 they released the first album 'Self-Titled' which was received warmly. "Intrigue, anger, catharsis, tragedy, melodrama, farce, circus Chapiteau and you - everything mentioned above is in the first studio album 'Self-Titled'" - was announced in the presentation of the album. Their music can be described as a combination of melodic post-rock and hard emotional screamo. Lyrics resemble postmodern literature with its fragmentation, paradox, casuistry, play with text and listeners.
