About MariaMatilde Band
MariaMatilde Band is a Danish pop duo from Denmark that released their debut album "Neonkys" in April 2009. The duo consists of Maria Sejer and Matilde Kühl. Their career gained wider attention after a record label contacted them upon hearing a demo on their Myspace page. The songs on "Neonkys" incorporate elements inspired by 1980s pop music combined with contemporary production. The album was produced by Søren Mikkelsen, who has also worked with Sys Bjerre, Mads Langer and Kim Larsen.
