Dutch mezzo-soprano Maria Fiselier (Born 1988 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands) is considered one of Europe´s top emerging artists, praised for her “exceptionally warm, opulent voice, used with sensitivity”. Her most recent highlights include Brigitta in Korngold´s Die Tote Stadt, directed by Robert Carsen as well as Paquette in Bernstein´s Candide, directed by Barrie Kosky, both role debuts at the Komische Oper Berlin. Maria also made a surprising appearance this year on Dutch Television
