About Margriet Hoenderdos
Margriet Hoenderdos (6 May 1952 – 14 October 2010) was a Dutch composer. Born in Santpoort, Netherlands, she studied piano with Thom Bollen at the Zwolle Conservatory. After finishing her composition studies with Ton De Leeuw at the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 1985 and winning the ‘Prijs voor Compositie’, Hoenderdos wrote music for a broad range of instruments, with a focus on chamber music.
