The digital form duo, Matthew Dean and Manuel Ferreira, sidled onto the Electronic Dance Music scene in South Africa in early 2006. A recent trip to London had inspired Manuel, aka Manwell Eff, after witnessing the Big Smoke’s cultivated club life, experiencing the global sounds and getting face time with some serious beat making machinery. Bringing this new ambition to the fore back home with partner in chime Matthew, the two got down to business and got involved in the Johannesburg party scene
