About Manuel de Osete
Manuel de Osete Gasca y Viamonte, also as Osette, Ossete and Ossette, 1715 - Granada, April 23, 1775) was a Spanish composer and chapel master. He was educated musically as a choir infant in the Cathedral of Sigüenza, so he was supposed to be originally from the diocese of Sigüenza. The fact is known by an inscription in an eight-voice Nunc dimittis that is preserved in the Cathedral: "Made and copied by Manuel de Ossete, choir, in this church of Sigüenza.
