Manta Donkey Hawk was formed in the spring of 2015 in Boston, Massachusetts with the idea of creating a instrumental power trio in search of a new sound. Guido Consoli, the Manta, brings from the deep ocean his expertise in synthesizers and vintage keyboards. Juan Mejia, the Donkey, tastefully adds the steady pulse and strong kick on the drums. Gianluca Girard, the Hawk, oversees the low end of the harmony with his intricate bass texture. The three come together to form a unique group
