About Manmade Science
Manmade Science are Michel Baumann (Soulphiction, Jackmate, Supatone), Phlegmatic and Nik Reiff. After several years of jammming together, whether as DJs or musicians, they started recording for Philpot-Records in 2000. Adding live instrumentation and vocals was the next goal. Releases on Perlon and Philpot came out and they were invited to the Stuttgart JazzOpen in 2004, where they played a great half-acoustic set, accompanied by John Thrower on Bass-Clarinet, Saxophone and Flute.
