About Man Watching the Stars
Man Watching the Stars is Brendan Paxton, an experimental violinist based in southwest Ohio. Paxton creates his music almost entirely with the acoustic violin to craft layers of expressive drones and textures. He is strongly influenced by the late Martyn Bennett (d. 2005), ambient artist Alexandre Navarro, and fiddler Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh. Debuting in 2010 with "One Minute for the Sun" on French label SEM Label, Paxton has released ambient works
