Man vs. Humanity was a band hailing from south-west Germany (Karlsruhe) that first formed in the summer of 1997. Frustrated not only with their local hardcore scene and its, at that time, predominant NYHC-style platitudes and lack of musical and lyrical content, Jay, M.A., Max and HIlmar took fate into their hands. Only a few months later, Bastian came into the fold to solidify the line up for the next 3 years. Drawing from the most abrasive and creative music at the time from both sides of the Atlantic
