Born in New Jersey and raised in Virginia, Malcolm Smalls AKA Chop has been able to perfect the ability to infuse his east-coast influence along with his southern upbringing. At the tender age of 8, Malcolm wrote his first rap and by the time he was 14 he was recording and producing all of his own music. With a flow reminiscent of Jay-Z, the rebellious and experimental mind of Kanye West and his love for melody, movies and literature, Chop decides to touch on subject matters only a few would ever write about.
