Since their formation in 2005 as Wonder Rubber-Stars, the band has kept a consistent line-up consisting of: Nicolai Noa: Vocals,Keys & Piano Kristian Lorenzen: Drums, Backing vocals & Lyrics Thomas Halkier: Bass & Percussion Samuel Medina: Guitar, Backing vocals & Lyrics The name "Magnolia Shoals" is taken from a poem of the same name, written by the author Sylvia Plath (1932 – 1963).
