Madlocks (Real name: Chris Pinnock) is a 90s Canadian hip hop artist. Many of Toronto’s biggest names got their start on BeatFactory’s Rap Essentials compilations. In 1997, Madlocks, a Jamestown head who rolled with a group called Unit 7, was featured on Volume 2 with a big record called “Gusto” featuring Michelle Ricketts. Madlocks became the first solo recording artist signed to BeatFactory Music in 1998 and used the opportunity to release the single
