
MacMurrough was an Irish folk trio formed as Shades of MacMurrough in 1971 in Ferns, County Wexford, by Paul Kavanagh and sisters Josephine O'Neill and Mary O'Neill. By 1977 Josephine O'Neill was no longer performing, and Paul Kavanagh and Mary O'Neill were married and performing as a duo. They disbanded in 1984.
