There are two bands with the name Lunge. (1) Lunge is a poppy noise punk / noise rock band originally founded outside of Sacramento, CA. Lunge and associates moved en mass to Portland, OR so the band could trick a wider audience of stoner hippies into watching them hump the ground with their instruments in a pile. Lunge is now Lunch (2)Lunge is an improvised music quartet consisting of Gail Brand (trombone), Phil Durrant (electronics & violin), Pat Thomas (electronics & piano) and Mark Sanders (percussion).
