Born in the USSR, raised on Manhattan's Lower East Side, Ludwig Persik is a multi-instrumentalist youngster whose music is a collage of new wave psychedelia and folk. Incorporating darker elements and pop forms, Ludwig establishes a satisfying hybrid that was once a hallmark for musicians of the Bowery scene: His childhood was spent napping on his parents laps at clubs like CBGBs, absorbing the dilapidated finesse of the avante garde that was coming to an anticlimactic end in the nineties.
