About Lucio Amanti
Lucio Amanti (born Montreal, QC, Canada, 1977) is a jazz and classical cellist with a Neapolitan soul. He grew up and begun his studies in cello and composition in Naples, Italy. Lucio continued his studies in France, and in the U.S. with the legendary cellist, Janos Starker. Lucio Amanti then decided to explore different approaches to cello playing, improving his already-strong classical preparation with serious studies in the jazz field; his mentor was the well-known Dr.
