About Luciano Simoni
Luciano Simoni was a composer, but also an engineer, a scientist, and a full professor at the University of Bologna. As a composer Luciano Simoni was instructed by Lino Liviabella, composition teacher and director of the Conservatory of Bologna. Simoni studied harmony, instrumentation and counterpoint with Liviabella. At the same time, he attended courses at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bologna, and he graduated with honors in July 1959.
