About Lothar Bayer
Composer, piano & synthesizer player Lothar Bayer is hailing from the heart of the Ruhr area (GER). Born in the late 50s, he grew up with the beat of the 60s but also with the works of classical and romantic composers. In the age of 10 he took his first piano and organ lessons - however shortly after he discovered the world of prog rock music and fell in love with bands like The Nice / ELP, Pink Floyd , Yes, Genesis - time had come to form High school band ELEGY in 1975 (still well known in his hometown) where he played Organ and E-piano.
