The Lord of the Rings Online Soundtrack was partly composed by video-game music composer Chance Thomas. Due to popular demand, it was released by developer Turbine, Inc. as a separate set of mp3 files for game subscribers to enjoy outside of the game. Considered by many to be one of the best video-game soundtracks ever. His scores have won top honors including the Oscar, Emmy, IGN, and G.A.N.G.
