About Long way to Knoxville
Long way to Knoxville began in August 2008 at the hand of Australian bassist David Mangado (Sad Man Said, Ashton, Anteia, Moebio). After the compilation of several compositions performed during two years, he forms a self-titled LP, with ten tracks, which will be released in January 2011. Raw vocals, intense guitars and fuzzy basses, all inspired by very American rock sounds without losing sight of Scandinavian influences, frame Long way to Knoxville at the scene of rock and roll vintage character and aesthetics of road movie.
