London Clay are visual artist Gema Oliver & musician Pat Daintith (Hygiene, Harold Turgis). The electronic duo formed during the pandemic after experimenting with old / found instruments & online synths. Their music explores the sounds & images of south east London, alongside lyrics on suburban voyeurism, urban ecology & city rhythms. The name London Clay was inspired by south London’s geology & the ceramic work created by the duo. "Like Aunt Sally, Thomas Leer, & ATV at a bus stop in Nunhead" - Jonah Falco
