Lola King and the Kickstarts are an exciting new band built around the songwriting partnership of Lola King and her brother Dan. Having toured the UK fronting indie-popsters Kyoshi (playing with the likes of Kingpin, Bloc Party and the Mentalists), Lola King had a vision for a modern take on the classic 4 piece band. She got her brother Dan on board, in-house producer at Kickstart Studios (producer of tracks for Jeanette Akua, Kurtis, Universal Records)
